EPA’s 2006 Competition for the P3 Phase I Awards is Now Open

Up to 50 awards for a maximum of $10,000 each will be made to student teams in the autumn of 2006. In spring 2007, teams will be invited to bring their designs to Washington, D.C. to compete for the 3rd Annual P3 Award.

Georgia Tech to Host Pan American Convention of Engineers in September

The Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) will host the 30th bi-annual Pan American Convention of Engineers/Union Pan Americana de Asociaciones de Ingenieria (UPADI), September 19-22, 2006, at the Institute’s Global Learning & Conference Center (GLCC) in Atlanta.

The conference, "Building a Sustainable Infrastructure: Education, Technology Innovation, and Economic Development," features a series of technical congresses and presentations, along with five plenary sessions focusing on transparency and global ethics, economic development, free trade, sustainability and education.

2006 STRUCTURES CONGRESS: Registration is open!
