2006 World Environmental & Water Resources Congress

Join us in Omaha, Nebraska, as we examine the confluence of environmental and water concerns from the very Missouri River banks where Lewis & Clark landed in 1804. The confluence of waterways, farm lands and business concerns in Omaha offers the ideal backdrop for our discussions of the many congress offerings.

Four days of technical sessions will cover topics such as Adaptive and Stormwater; 3rd Annual Symposium on BMP Technology; Computational Hydraulics; Dam Removal; Education and Research; Engineering History and Heritage; Environmental Processes; Establishing Funding for Development of EWRI Standards; Evolutionary Computation; EWRI Local Technical Group Activities; Groundwater Hydrology, Quality and Management Symposium; Hydraulic Structures; Hydraulics and Waterways; Hydrology and Its Application in Water Resources & Management; International Issues; Irrigation and Drainage; Planning and Management; River and Wetlands Restoration; Student Papers; Sustainable Development in Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater; Tidal; and Watershed Management.

Congress activities will also include networking functions, interesting keynote addresses and opportunities to get a taste of the Omaha area. It will surprise you!
