For the second year in a row COPRI and ASCE will honor papers presented at past Offshore Technology Conferences with induction into the ASCE OTC Hall of Fame.  Since it’s beginning, more than 35 years ago, the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) has provided the industry with outstanding papers that have shaped our world.  Many of these papers offer innovation, vision, direction and lasting impact on the design, construction or installation of the offshore infrastructure.

Edge Honored by Army

 

COPRI Past-President Billy Edge, Ph.D., P.E. was the recipient of the Outstanding Civilian Service Medal, the third highest honor the Army can bestow upon a civilian.    Edge received the award for his commitment and contribution as a member of the ASCE External Review Panel (ERP), which provided independent and objective review of the Hurricane Katrina Interagency Performance Evaluation Task Force (IPET).
