History in the Making: PEA 2008

Would you like to be part of history? And, at the same time make a contribution to the success of COPRI?  If so, read on.

COPRI is sponsoring a new annual award to recognize noteworthy projects in the practice areas of coasts, oceans, ports and rivers. This award, to be presented for the first time in 2008, is intended to give professionals who practice in these areas the opportunity to showcase their projects to the COPRI community and to gain national recognition for their efforts.

An outstanding judging committee is already in place and ready to judge each nomination. The COPRI staff is in place to receive and process your applications.  The COPRI Governing Board is ready to receive the judging committee recommendations.  All that’s left is for you to prepare your nomination and be part of history.

If you do not plan to submit a project for this award, there are other opportunities for your participation:

 

• Help get the word out by mentioning this award at your local and state ASCE meetings.
• Mention this opportunity to your clients and let them know of the tangible benefits associated with winning this award.
• Scout out projects in your area that may be noteworthy and pass the word to individuals from that design team.
• But, most importantly, be part of history and consider submitting your outstanding projects for this award.
