In order to facilitate the industry’s transition to the new generation joining the workforce, the Construction Institute will be holding a “Student Days” symposium in San Francisco September 26-28, 2008, inviting the top students from thirteen Northern California and Nevada Universities.
This symposium is designed to introduce students to the many facets of engineering and construction management, and to provide opportunities for Industry to meet and interact with them. The program includes technical sessions, career preparation seminars, and project site tours, designed to provide students with interactive out-of-the classroom experiences in real-world civil engineering and construction management.
Information on the event, including interactive sponsorship opportunities, is available at http://content.constructioninst.org/SFCEStudentDays.html.Stephen M.
