Associate Editors Wanted for the Journal of Architectural Engineering

With the approval of AEI, the Journal of Architectural Engineering will be adding four associate editor positions for 2009. The intent of adding these new positions is to place an editor in each of four strategic areas of architectural engineering to coordinate Journal activities and content. Associate editor positions will be established in the areas of construction, lighting/electrical, mechanical systems, and structures. Associate editors will assist the Editor in the selection of reviewers, processing paper submissions, initiating special issues in their areas of expertise, and coordinating other editorial content related to the four additional categories. Associate editors are required to be members of ASCE. Anyone interested in one of these positions should send a letter of interest to the editor, including a brief summary of qualifications and experience. Journal readers are encouraged to nominate one or more of their colleagues if they are aware of individuals who would be well suited for these positions.

Send responses to Dr. Paul Seaburg, Editor, Journal of Architectural Engineering.
