2008 Architectural Student Paper Competition

 

TOPIC: The theme for this year’s Student Paper Competition is a model for a National Architectural Engineering Student Competition that will take place annually, possibly with external funding support.   The proposed model should specify the format, schedule, topic, rules, logistics and funding requirements, judging process and criteria, and eligibility for participation.

One Paper will be accepted from each Institution: submitted by the AEI academic advisor, Architectural Engineering Chairman or program head

The paper will be 1,500 to 3,000 words, double spaced.

Each paper may reference several sources (if appropriate).

The paper shall include a cover page with the author's name and Institution, followed by the essay and an appended reference list.

Format shall be Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf.

Deadline for submittal is August 1, 2008 to Rob Bowman at rbowman@asce.org

The winners of the competition will receive their awards at the 2008 AEI Conference in Denver and the paper will be published in the AEI Newsletter and on the AEI web site
