AAWRE Ethics Session

On May 22, 2006 in Omaha, Nebraska, the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers (AAWRE) held a special ethics training session during the 2006 EWRI Water and Environmental Engineering Congress to provide AAWRE Diplomates a convenient opportunity to fulfill their annual Professional Development Hours (PDH) renewal requirement. AAWRE Diplomate Reception

Over 800 environmental and water resources engineering professionals joined together on May 22, 2006 to recognize the 2nd year group of 79 Diplomate, Water Resources Engineers (D.WRE). AAWRE Diplomates Making News in the Field

Two Diplomate, Water Resources Engineers (D.WRE) from the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers (AAWRE) made news in the latest edition of the U.S. Society for Irrigation and Drainage Professional’s (USCID) Newsletter. John A. Replogle, Ph.D., P.E., D.WRE, was named the Irrigation Association 2005 Person of the Year and Robert S. Gooch, P.E., D.WRE, was elected to serve on the USCID Board of Directors. (ASABE)

AAWRE diplomate John W. Keys, III, P.E., Hon.D.WRE, announced his resignation to step down as the Commissioner of the Bureau of Reclamation and has retired from the field, after nearly 40 years of service. Click here to read more:

AAWRE Pays Tribute to Dr. David K. Todd

AAWRE diplomate Dr. David Keith Todd, Ph.D., P.E., D.WRE, who was an Emeritus Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, and started his own engineering consulting firm, Todd Engineers, passed away earlier this year. AAWRE remembers the life and achievements of Dr. Todd. To read more:
